Research Activity

Lorenzo Poggini, with Matteo Mannini build the new research field for the LaMM group related to the deposition of single molecule magnets, organic radicals, valence tautomers and spin cross-over on surfaces as active layer in spintronic devices, adopting a combined characterization protocol, mostly based on Photo Emission Spectroscopy and large-scale facility, to understand the electrical behavior of real devices.

He is interested in the evaluation of surface effect on the magnetic behavior of single layer   of magnetic molecules in hybrid system, and on how to play with those properties by the surface interaction.
